Hello, dearies. In this too-short life, it's such a waste to not be all of yourself. And by that I mean, all the elements of your life should be in sync with your persona (including your pillow covers, yep). There's truly no point if you aren't out there, in all your glory, creating magic. And what better way to speak about your true glittery self than making your room, your own heaven?
Be it your furniture or your curtain draping, this is how your room should look like based on your personality:

Why I bunked one form of learning for another.
I bunked college today, missed my presentations and assignment submissions, and went on a road trip with my friends to Fort Tikona. I kept thinking of my classmates, who are currently sitting inside four walls, learning, growing and educating themselves for a professional life ahead. But as I drove towards Lonavala, sitting amongst three Indian Naval officers, listening to their conversations about India, China and the US defence forces, I wondered if this isn't learning as well?
Does education mean attending classes for attendance and feeling pressurised about beating your fellow classmates for a better placement to start a never-ending journey of surviving capitalism?
All good things come to those who try.
Two words. And so much to unfold within them.
You probably find these two words plastered all across the internet, in motivational paragraphs and inspirational quotes. You've probably come across several articles on all the wonderful ways to go about loving yourself. In fact, I know I've written quite a few myself.
Perhaps you're someone who doesn't quite understand what the whole hullabaloo about self love is, and see it as yet another hipster trend millenials just go on about. Or perhaps you're someone who has taken the time and patience to master it, and now devote a good amount of your time in making sure you find new ways to love yourself.
Here's a man worth looking up to!
Virat Kohli, a name that has been dominating the world of cricket, came into prominence after he successfully lead the Indian Under-19 team to a glorious World Cup win in 2008. Ever since then, he has been breaking records and setting new standards for himself.
Arguably the best batsman we have right now, Kohli has made it a habit to hit centuries in almost all the games he plays. The constant developments in his professional and personal always manage to inspire millions of Indians who look up to him as a new-age role model. And while Kohli's uninhibited nature has attracted him few haters, there is no doubt about the genius of this man. Here are just a few lessons we can all learn from his life both on and off the field.
Because TV shows can live on forever. Especially with streaming services.
There are new TV shows and series popping up all the time now. Especially now when there are streaming services, and some shows are tailored for that audience. Despite the new offerings, sometimes we cannot help but fallback into the old series that we once enjoyed. Here are 10 off air shows that you could binge on.
Romance doesn't have to be complicated.
Finding an ideal life partner is tough, some even call it impossible.
And I'm not being a pessimist here, but let's face it: over a lifetime, you meet a bunch of people who turn out to be wrong choices. While growing up, I used to idolise picture-perfect couples who have been with each other for ages. But once you enter adulthood, reality hits you right in the face. What if I keep looking for a guy with my precious list of qualities and I never find him? What if my whole idea of romance is wrong? And what if there never was such a thing as a 'happy couple'?
Do you need me? Do you think I'm pretty? Do I make you feel like cheating?
Relationships are tricky and can go downhill pretty fast, especially when there are pesky little doubts in either of the partner's minds. Asking questions to clear these doubts to maintain a healthy relationship is okay but it's definitely not okay to ask questions that you don't want to hear the answer to and no matter what your partner says will cause a fight. And women, don't think that you can manipulate your partner by asking them thinly veiled tricky questions because they can definitely see right through your gimmick. So do yourself a favour and just avoid asking anything related to what is mentioned below.
Who better to tell you how to live!
If you know even the wee-est bit of Jennifer Lopez then you know that she is, was and probably will be a powerhouse, an unstoppable force of nature ever and ever and ever.
This woman seems to have done it all and done it better. Not only is she a phenomenal actress, performer, singer, song writer and dancer, she is just as terrific a human being. All the while seeming to not age a day over 25. If there is anyone who seems to have figured out this puzzle called life, it's got to be her. Every word out of her mouth is pure gold! It leaves you inspired, charged and ready to hustle.
Haven't experienced this for yourself yet? Here you go!
I sort of don't blame our peeps for not entirely getting us, because let's face it, we are a tough crowd to understand and handle. Having earned the tag of a generation who changes its mind in a fraction of a second and believes in living life on their own terms, our parents are bound to go nuts with some of our habits.
Their upbringing has been all about following rules, acting conventionally and never questioning the elders. While ours is completely the opposite, therefore here are a few things that I bet every Indian Parent can't stand:
